"Browned and skillful CAKES and CAKES".
- 800 gr puff pastry
- 400 gr sweet or very slightly salty but creamy cheese
- 200 gr sour cream
- 1 egg for greased
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Appetizer for tender cheese pies:
The puff pastry is spread on a plate sprinkled with flour.
Then divide the dough sheet into three parts both vertically and horizontally, to obtain 9 squares. From each square, cut out a circle.
In each circle, put a tablespoon of cream cheese and then gather the edges in half and join them. We then cut the pie from the middle to the edge, in six places. It will look about like a flower and we will turn each strip in the same order, just enough to have a cut edge on the tray and one on top.
Grease each pie with egg and bake for 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
Appetizer check with ham and olives
For this appetizer check satiated and refined you will need ingredients that will remind you of your grandmother's liver:
- 150 g pitted green olives (but not stuffed with donuts)
- 2 measures and 3 tablespoons of flour
- 1 teaspoon and a half of baking powder
- a quarter teaspoon of salt
- 4 large eggs at room temperature
- 3 quarters of a cup of skim milk
- 1 cup of white wine
- half a cup of vegetable oil
- a quarter cup of olive oil
- 200 g of smoked ham, cut into slices 1 cm thick
- 175 g of Gruyere cheese (if you can't find Gruyere, you can use Emmental, Comte or Beaufort)
- half a teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
1. Heat the oven. Grease a bread pan with butter and flour. In a deep bowl, boil 2 cups of water. Drain the olives and, when the water boils, boil them for 2 minutes to whiten them (this way you get rid of the excess salt). Drain and cut into large pieces. Put them aside.
2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Put in a bowl. Mix eggs, one at a time. Then add the milk, wine and both vegetable and olive oil. It will result in a very liquid consistency, which is normal.
3. Cut the ham into 1 cm cubes and mix with the dough. Laugh the furrow and add it too. Finally, add the pepper and olives, mix well and then pour the composition into the pan.
4. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes - an hour, until the knife with which you pierce the dough comes out clean. Because there is a lot of liquid in the recipe, the dough will be very porous and the knife blade may come out wet, but it is important not to leave the dough uncooked. The top should be dark gold. Don't worry if the inside still looks unripe. This yellow color is exactly the ideal color!
Not only Romanian or "Phanariot" inspired cuisine has these amazing recipes appetizer check. Almost every gastronomic culture in the world honors this delicious appetizer cake recipe, fast and easy, ideal for any event and for any guest at the table!

Homemade cheese pies
Homemade cheese pies from: flour, sugar, butter, eggs, raisins, jam, cheese, lemon, baking powder.
- 300 g flour
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
- 250 g butter
- 7 eggs
- 50 g raisins
- 50 g of strawberry jam
- 150 g caster sugar
- 600 g of cottage cheese
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 sachet baking powder
- 50 ml oil
- 50 g powdered sugar
Method of preparation:
Put in a bowl baking powder, flour, 80 g caster sugar, salt and 3 eggs, then mix, then add butter and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
Put the dough in a pan greased with oil and line with flour.
Mix the cheese with the grated lemon peel, vanilla sugar, remaining caster sugar, raisins and 3 eggs. Homogenize the composition and pour over the dough, then spread on top with beaten egg and strawberry jam.
Place the tray in the oven for 45 minutes on medium heat. Remove from the oven and cut into powdered pieces
In a bowl put salt, flour, sugar, and yeast as well as moist ingredients - sour cream, egg and melted butter. Mix everything and knead until it becomes a smooth dough. Leave to rise in a warm place until it doubles in volume.
When the dough is leavened, it is spread on a work surface sprinkled with flour, in a thin, rectangular sheet. Grease the dough on the entire surface with a little heated nutella, just enough to be easier to spread.
Sprinkle fried and chopped walnuts over the nutella.
then fold it into three parts. Bring one part of the dough to more than half to the right then fold from the other side bringing the dough over the left side.
The result is a narrower and thicker rectangle.
Cut with a sharp knife wide strips /
twist and place in a tray lined with baking paper.
Let it rise for another 15 minutes in the pan, grease with beaten egg and put them in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
These twisted pies are very tasty because the walnut and chocolate cream intertwine, giving a DIVINE taste.
Great. My mother-in-law makes sour cabbage. I'm a good man. Many kisses!
I know that without your miraculous "Artifact" of mine, they will not come out so good. Leaving the joke. PLEASANT HOLIDAY!
I have never eaten cabbage pies, but I would be curious to try. A beautiful Sunday!

Very good, but unfortunately I can't do it. My little girl is melted for cabbage, but she has stomach problems and is not allowed cabbage at all. She likes cabbage in any combination. Have a nice holiday.
P.S. I also opened a blog, if you would like to follow me. I hope to learn everything quickly too, I don't know much yet. Thank you.
I really like cabbage pies but I always make them in the oven, I haven't tried your version which is definitely faster. That being said, I wish you a pleasant and relaxing holiday.

I know what you're talking about. I suffered too. I ate until I felt like I was cracking and they were still hot.
No, but I'm still not calm. :)
They can also be made with sheep's cheese and dill, with finesse, with plum magic.
Maybe you still find a combination that is good for your little one.

I try to gather here a collection of recipes, which I hope my daughter will try one day.
If I wink at someone else, the greater my joy.

How much I needed a good read this morning !! :) You make simple or complicated recipes seem like a trifle for anyone, it's your way of telling the story, which makes me smile and make me feel good. I didn't get to read all the posts, I let myself have some more for coffee tomorrow morning and then I'll move on to the facts, as the list is big and you have to try everything. Kiss you!
Lia, I try my best to resist the temptation to salivate on the keyboard every time you post something, but this time I let myself be carried away by the wave, your pies simply took my mind, not only did I fall asleep thinking to them, but I also dreamed of them. I have never eaten cabbage pies. I did not have the opportunity to taste home-made, and the ones to buy. they always seemed to me bathed in oil.
So on Saturday I started making pies. They came out very well, thank you very much !!
And as the cabbage was smaller, I had three left on the outside. "I had nowhere to go" and I made them sweet, with apricot jam and ground walnuts. I wasn't sorry. -)
Beautiful your stories and skillfully told, beautiful and the "artifact" for the twister! To be honest, I think I admired him before the pies.
Thanks again and all the best!
Thank you very much for visiting.
I'm glad that my pies inspired you and that you weren't afraid to try them. It will be good.
I was in your house too and I really liked what I saw.
Lia, I (my mother actually) made cabbage pies, just like Grandma used to make. And I dedicated the recipe to you with much love :)

A true kitchen expert. These pies would turn anyone and wherever he was. Congratulations on everything you do!
You make me blush.
Thank you so much for feedback .:)
Very good recipe. I ate something like this in Transylvania, when I was very young, to be interested in the recipe. The culmination was that even the nations could not remember doing such a thing. I tried the recipe above and it is exactly what I wanted.
I'm glad you found & quot the taste of childhood & quot. :)
Just today I hardened a cabbage and gave the money, if it turns into a pie filling or it will be a garnish for some chicken livers.
In the end I did:
Cabbages (Noodles) with cabbage. :)
Something simple and incredibly good.
Tasty, flavorful and fragrant cottage cheese pies
If you like cottage cheese pies, then you should try this recipe. It is easy and quick to prepare. The taste of the pies is delicious.

- 250 ml warm milk, 500 gr wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast, 80 g soft butter
Ingredients for the filling:

Method of preparation:
Beat the egg with the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Add warm milk and mix well. Mix the flour with the dry yeast and gradually add it to the milk and egg mixture. Knead the dough with a mixer with hooks, then with your hands.
At the end, add the melted butter and knead the dough a little more. You need to get a homogeneous and soft dough. Cover the dough with a towel and put it in a warm place. Leave it there for 1-1.5 hours to double its volume.
To prepare the filling, mix the cottage cheese with the egg, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
After the dough has risen, transfer it to the work surface sprinkled with flour. Cut the dough into small pieces. From each piece of dough form a ball. Place the balls in a tray lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them.
Let the dough balls rise in the pan for about 20 minutes, then flatten them. Put the cheese filling over each ball of dough.
Mix the egg with the milk. Grease each pie with this mixture. Let the pies rise for another 10 minutes, then put the tray in the preheated oven at 190 degrees. Bake the pies for about 25 minutes or until golden.
After baking, take the pies out of the oven and let them cool. Have fun with your loved ones!

Few notions in the Romanian vocabulary are lucky to be evoked in as many situations as the pie, either when it comes to a small snack, or in various other situations.
Dictionaries define the pie as a dish in the category of dessert (or quick snacks), made from dough sheets and filling, subjected to a heat treatment and consumed hot or cold, often in combination with a liquid food or drink. It is hard to imagine a consumer from the Romanian space who does not consume this delicacy with great pleasure, either to end a healthy meal taken at peace at home or at a local, or even fleeing near a pastry point on the busy roads and hurry up.
It is so advanced and long involved in the life of contemporary communities that the profession of pie / pastry maker has long been established throughout the world, and the pie / pastry network is present in all communities, some traditional pies becoming centers of great interest, including for today's tourism.

It looks great. must be tried!
extraordinary, can it be prepared with other fillings?
Yes, it can be prepared with different fillings, but to be drier, in consistency. For example, it is not possible with clean jam, it is necessary to mix it with crushed walnuts. Dear anonymous, after I opened your post, my computer showed that it had detected a virus. It would be good to control your computer, and not to spread viruses through other computers. If I paid hard money for the computer, believe me, I protected myself well.
mercy of explanations, as for the virus, I don't really know what could be the cause because I have the antivirus program in the computer, but just in case, I'm already scanning the computer for viruses.
